Quality Programs for Students with Visual Impairments
Quality Programs for Students with Visual Impairments (QPVI) is a systematic approach to improve programming and outcomes for students who are blind and visually impaired through a self-study model for vision programs to implement and sustain research-based standards of practice. QPVI is implemented in two phases, typically over a period of two or more years, and involves all members of the VI staff including the supervising administrator. This intensive commitment is facilitated by PaTTAN Blindness and Visual Impairment Educational Consultants. PaTTAN currently supports five intermediate unit (IU) vision programs located across the commonwealth.
Additional information about QPVI can be found at the following link http://qpvi.com/. Contact your regional PaTTAN Blindness and Visual Impairment Educational Consultant if you are an IU vision program and have questions about QPVI.
