has been working at PDE/BSE for 6 years. One of her responsibilities is to complete cyclical monitoring for many charter schools throughout the state of PA; they are located in Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties. Her educational background is extension in the areas of Special and General Education. Beth holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (K – 8), two Masters of Education, and a Doctorate from Widener University. Beth’s certifications are in Elementary Teacher (K – 6), Elementary & Secondary Principal, Supervisor of Special Education, and Letter of Eligibility Superintendent. Her repertoire of teaching and supervision extends from grades K – 12, and she has served as an adjunct professor for undergraduate and graduates studies at West Chester University. Previously, she was eligible for a Fulbright Scholarship, became a Behavior Specialist for the Devereaux Foundation, and wrote numerous grants for West Chester University. Dr. Marvin works collaboratively with each LEA to provide resources and tools from many sources, such as Intermediate Units, PaTTAN, and PDE/Bureau of Special Education regarding Chapter 711, Chapter 14, Chapter 15, and Chapter 16.
