graduated from Cambria Heights High School in Cambria County in 1984.
Attained undergraduate degree in Special Education from the Pennsylvania State University and Masters in Educational Leadership from Saint Francis University with special education supervisor and principal certifications.
Taught Special Education, high school multiple disability support and elementary learning support at Hollidaysburg Area School District.
Served as the Special Education Director for Tyrone Area School District in Blair County and Purchase Line School District in Indiana County before accepting a position at the Bureau of Special Education as an adviser.
BSE state lead for the State Performance Plan/Annual Performance Report (SPP/APR) and the State Systemic Improvement Plan (SSIP).
Prior to her career in education, served in the U.S. Army as a Russian Linguist and Military Intelligence Analysist for the First Infantry Division (Big Rid One).
Resides in the Cambria County with husband Brant and children Amelia and Angelo.
