Good CommunicationAAC for Connection, Choice, & Control
Communication is one of the trickiest skills to teach. We learn communication by doing it: expressing our wants and needs, our stories and personalities, our questions and our answers. To teach it, we need to think of ourselves as communication partners more than educators. This session will explore how we can foster the authentic communication that helps our students be known as unique individuals, connect with others, and maximize choice and control over their own lives.
