Session Description:
Establishing and maintaining a social connection with others is essential for both our emotional and physical health and well-being. In this webinar, participants will explore ways to foster social connection in students who are learning to communicate using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Session content will cover activity ideas that can be used to support AAC users in expanding their language skills while making stronger personal connections with others.

Speaker Biography:
Lauren S. Enders, MA, CCC-SLP is an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Assistive Technology (AT) Consultant working for the Bucks County Intermediate Unit in Eastern Pennsylvania. Lauren presents at national and international conferences as well as smaller conferences, webinars, and podcasts. Lauren is well-known in the AAC community for regularly sharing AAC, AT, and special-education related resources on her professional Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and Instagram accounts.
