The SCRIPT (Strategic CSforALL Resource and Implementation Planning Tool) "is a framework to guide teams of district administrators, school leaders, and educators through a series of collaborative visioning, self-assessment and goal-setting exercises to create or expand upon a computer science education implementation plan for their students" (CSforALL).
In collaboration with CSforALL, PaTTAN has begun a statewide SCRIPT initiative to facilitate the creation of hyper-local Computer Science goals and planning procedures by LEAs. In October 2019, PaTTAN consultants trained over 50 Intermediate Unit STEM Points of Contact and TaCs from across the Commonwealth to be SCRIPT Facilitators. As of October 31, 2019, 30 school districts have participated in a SCRIPT workshop.
Intermediate Units began hosting local workshops in November - get in touch with your local SCRIPT Facilitator and find other schools that have completed the initial workshop using our PA SCRIPT Map!
