In this session we will use the MTSS framework to guide the integration of academic, Schools in Pennsylvania are working to increase the graduation rate and decrease the dropout rate for students with disabilities. Participants will complete a planning document that guides them through five phases in how to increase graduation rates in their schools. The five phases include:
- establishing a local leadership team and an Early Warning System (EWS),
- analyzing attendance, behavior, and course performance data,
- identifying target areas for interventions for students who are off-track,
- developing an action plan, and
- implementing and monitoring an evaluation plan.
Objectives:
Participants will be able to:
- Describe a process for identifying and using outcome and fidelity data to guide • Identify the five phases of implementation with regards to increasing graduate rates for students with disabilities.
- Complete a planning document that aligns with the five phases of implementation and how to increase graduation rates in their schools.
- Locate additional resources concerning increasing graduation and decreasing dropout rates from the PaTTAN website.
