2023 Pennsylvania Department of Education (In-Person) Conference
Belonging Through a Culture of Dignity
Session Dates
Thursday March 02, 2023 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM - Hershey Lodge and Convention Center
Closed
The biggest challenge and responsibility of leadership is to create conditions where each person can thrive. This session will bring clarity to what we need to prioritize for school, classroom, and work environments. Belonging precedes optimal achievement and performance. Dignity nurtures belonging. Thus, to help us maximize dignity and belonging in our organizations, authors Floyd Cobb and John Krownapple draw from their best-selling book to provide an overview of a framework designed to support us in best serving our students, their families, and one another.
Target Audience
General education and special education administrators and teachers, paraprofessionals, school psychologists, professional development staff, and families of students with disabilities are encouraged to attend.
Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate individuals who have special needs as addressed by the Americans with Disabilities Act and who need assistance at this event. Contact: Debra Jordan at (610) 878-7224 or
