These sessions will emphasize the importance of high-quality core instruction, the integration of reliable and valid data sources to inform teaching and student learning, the whole child (academic, behavior and social-emotional domains) and the meaningful engagement of families within the context of culturally responsive practices, distributed leadership and effective teaming within schools.
Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Establish a Positive Climate and Culture within Tiered Systems
- Develop Skills for Fostering Shared Leadership and Learning within Tiered Systems
- Identify ways to Engage and Empower Students and Families within Tiered Systems
- Provide Equitable Access through High-Quality Universal Practices

Individuals attending this course must arrive on time and stay the duration of the course in order to receive Act 48 Professional Education hours. Requests for exceptions are to be brought to the attention of the individual's Superintendent or IU Director prior to the course.
