Please note office hours are intended to provide real-time technical assistance to educators, caregivers, parents, and students. Technical assistance is not legal advice. Specific questions concerning a student’s special education program or the laws relating to the provision of services in a child’s IEP (Individualized Educational Program) should be directed to ConsultLine at 800-879-2301.


Students are encouraged to contact the appropriate member of their school team (teachers, specialists, etc.) with specific questions regarding school procedures, assignments, etc. If you have questions specific to PaTTAN or the PA Deaf-Blind Project, please feel free to contact us using the contact information below.

Families should connect with the Pennsylvania Partnership for the Deafblind’s website at www.papdb.org or Facebook page if they haven’t already. PPDB offers family supports, resource sharing, Facebook group with idea sharing, etc.

Paths to Literacy is offering students with visual impairments who do not have full access to online curriculum, supplemental activities, or resources during the COVID-19 pandemic volunteer-based support for access. The idea of this project is to connect students and their families to volunteers who have the skills and desire to provide this support during this unprecedented time of need
