This online course contains four modules, which together, prepare intermediate unit coaches to become experts in the implementation of Transition Discoveries (TD) who can comprehensively support LEAs through all aspects of the TD process. This course is designed to ensure that IU coaches have the same level of knowledge about Transition Discoveries implementation as PaTTAN Consultants. The goal of this course is that IU Coaches will be able to independently identify LEAs that would strongly benefit from TD implementation and subsequently onboard them and support them through all four stages of TD implementation. This course represents a shift in the approach that PaTTAN and it’s partners have utilized for TD implementation statewide during the years prior to the Pathways to Partnership Grant.

Objectives

As a result of this course, IU coaches will be able to
a) use a standardized screening and site selection process to identify LEAs that are a strong fit for TD implementation
b) onboard LEAs for TD implementation
c) train LEAs on the goals, processes, procedures and tools for each of the four stages of TD implementation
d) coach LEAs through both common and complex challenges during each stage of TD implementation
e) evaluate the fidelity of TD implementation throughout all four stages
f) coach teams in using TD data (TD Survey, Monthly Implementation Update, Action Plan Development Guide) to continuously evaluate and adjust their efforts to implement TD
