PaTTAN develops and disseminates a wide variety of material to support those involved in educating students with disabilities and to support their families.  These include print publications focusing on various disabilities, explaining special education law, rights, and responsibilities, and effective research-based instructional practices.  The Resource Section includes a series of links to high quality web resources from public and private organizations supporting the work of educators addressing the needs of students with disabilities. It includes a glossary of frequently encountered terms.  PaTTAN offers ongoing training opportunities in the form of workshops, guided practice, seminars, statewide conferences, distance learning, video conferences, and online courses. Many of these training opportunities have accompanying support materials to further explain the concepts addressed in training and to provide. These can be accessed in the training materials section of the resource guide. PaTTAN offers videotapes and DVDs of many of its past teleconferences and other training courses.  Some can be accessed online in streaming video and others can be obtained in tape or DVD formats.  Please visit the Distance Learning Videos page to search and order distance learning materials.
