State Interagency Coordinating Council (SICC)

The Pennsylvania State Interagency Coordinating Council (SICC) is a 15-member advisory board of parents, Department of Education, Public Welfare, and Health professionals, and others who are appointed by the governor. The SICC advises the departments on the Pennsylvania Early Intervention System.

The Pennsylvania State Interagency Coordinating Council (SICC) is a 15-member advisory board of parents, Department of Education, Public Welfare, and Health professionals, and others who are appointed by the governor. Through bimonthly meetings, the SICC advises and supports state agencies by making programmatic recommendations to the PA Departments of Education, Health, and Public Welfare. These recommendations are guided by the principles identified in the SICC's vision statement for Pennsylvania's early intervention programs.
