We Listened!

Last year’s conference participants asked for:

Shorter sessions with increased opportunities to see a variety of speakers – most of this year’s sessions are 60 to 90 minutes, with many speakers presenting two sessions.

Dedicated time to visit the Exhibit Hall – this year, we’re opening the Exhibit Hall 2 1/2 hours before the Keynote on Monday and offering an extended lunch break on Thursday to either peruse the Hall or attend a vendor session.

Brain food – beginning with a Coffee House in the Exhibit Hall on Wednesday, you’ll find munchies and meals that will sustain you through the day (plus, our brains can’t work properly without a little Hershey’s hot chocolate, right?)

In addition, this year we have a series of exciting new highly interactive sessions – TED Talks: Ideas Worth Spreading (TED)

In preparation for Friday’s closing keynote session by Ron Suskind, we’ll show the movie Life, Animated, the award-winning documentary about Mr. Suskind’s son, Owen. Having lost his speech at age three, Owen seized upon an interest in the form of animated Disney movies, which helped him make sense of himself and the world. Join us for a fascinating look at one family’s inspiring “adventure story of the human heart.”

Please join us for three days of intensive learning with educators who are making a difference for all students!
