  • Karen E. Blankenship, Ph.D. has been a certified teacher of students who are blind or visually impaired for 41 years. She completed both her undergraduate degree and Ph.D. in blind/visually impaired from Peabody College of Vanderbilt University. Dr. Blankenship’s lifelong learning encompasses transition, ECC, and effective teaching. She currently serves as the chair-elect of the Personnel Prep Division of AER and is professional co-chair of the National Agenda.
