This event is by invitation only. You must have a registration key in order to register.

Participants will use formative and diagnostic mathematics assessment to inform instructional intensification within a tiered system of support. Participants will gather information using task and error pattern analysis and diagnostic interviewing to inform instruction and establish peer-coaching structures. Participants will also collect and interpret diagnostic data, in order to determine degree of deficiency and target specific mathematical skills.


  • List formative assessment techniques within a tiered system of support
  • Develop error analysis procedures and task analysis sheets
  • Identify the degree of deficiency and targeted skills using diagnostic measures
  • Describe methods to accelerate students’ response to math instruction and intervention

Target Audience

Building Principal, General Education Teacher(s), Special Education Teachers (s), School Psychologist, Reading/Writing Specialist, Parent (optional), IU TaC (required), MTSS Coordinator

Individuals attending this course must arrive on time and stay the duration of the course in order to receive Act 48 Professional Education hours. Requests for exceptions are to be brought to the attention of the individual´s Superintendent or IU Director prior to the course.
