School-based writing teams have refined their tiered system of support for writing over the course of the academic school year. Each central and western team will provide a presentation that includes the final status of their case study and a review of systems, grade and student level implications as a result of implementation of tiered writing assessment, instruction and intervention.

Objectives

  • Reflect on their case study and extrapolate lessons learned to other students and to instruction, intervention and assessment practices
  • Develop and provide a formal presentation
  • Present rate of improvement and pre-post diagnostic data
  • Share plans for next steps
