The Pathway Provider Training Institute will enable participants to offer a research-based and field-proven strategic planning process to partner schools. Pathway Providers will receive a full set of training materials, in-depth knowledge of the online Pathway tools, models for workshops and implementation strategies, regular online webinars to support their work, and online access to our Pathway Provider Portal. This training will bring together STEM education colleagues dedicated to bringing strategic STEM improvements to schools in their communities and will cover the following important topics to prepare them to implement the Pathway with schools:

  • Background and Introduction to the Pathway
  • Pathway Provider Expectations
  • Online Pathway Tools via STEMisphere
  • Administration and Data Reporting
  • Pathway Provider Portal
  • Pathway Partner Workshop Materials
  • “What Is STEM?”
  • Self-Evaluation, Priority Area selection, and Action Planning
  • Facilitating Breakout Discussions for Emerging Workshop
  • Progressing Workshop Model
  • Helping Schools Develop S.M.A.R.T. Goals which are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely
  • Advancing Workshop Model
  • Recruiting Pathway Partners & Implementation Timelines
  • Ongoing Pathway Partner Support
  • CSC Ongoing Support of Pathway Providers
