The type of support paraeducators provide can greatly affect the degree of independence students reach in being able to use those skills. This is a PowerPoint for this training presenting information on various mathematical strategies related to fact errors, component skill errors, and strategy errors. It utilizes student work samples, consisting of computation and application problems, and includes activities on error analysis of student work and classifying types of errors to determine the student’s areas of need. Information on adapting materials to meet student needs is also included. The final activity looks at a sample math activity, allowing a discussion session on ways to adapt the material based on individual student needs. Repeat of December 14, 2004
