As teachers across the state are engaged with essentialization of alternate eligible content, more is learned each day of ways to simplify and assist with the essentializing process . This presentation will provide participants with tips and strategies that have been helpful to the field as the content is reduced, even to the least complex level. Considerations of defining students’ current levels of performance as it relates to the content will be discussed.
