This handout accompanies the November 19, 2014 COP Webinar – Making Transition Happen – Employment Options Part # 2. This session will address the following: The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) in collaboration with its partner agencies has developed a number of innovative projects to increase and improve post-secondary outcomes for youth and young adults with intellectual disabilities. Agency collaboration, service coordination and braided funding have emerged as “promising practices” in several new service models. Learn about the Berks CTC – OVR Work Partners Project, Greene County ID Transition Project, Dream Partnership/ACES grant, Discovery/Customized Employment Pilot, and the continued expansion of Project SEARCH and the Jobs for All OJT program.
