ELLs in Special Education: Evidence and Practice

Students with disabilities who are linguistically and culturally diverse present unique challenges to educators. In particular, the process of acquiring a second language while learning content specific concepts has specific implications for instruction and assessment of English language learners. This workshop will address cultural and linguistic implications for the referral and evaluation process for this population.
