Supportive School Discipline - an initiative of the U.S. Departments of Education and Justice

The U.S. Departments of Education and Justice have announced the Supportive School Discipline Initiative.

The initiative package of resources for educators, school leaders and parents. The package offers guidance on school legal obligations, under federal law, to administer student discipline without discrimination based on race, color, or national origin. The package also includes a set of guiding principles to help communities prevent misbehavior and create positive school climates.
