Alternate Eligible Content: ELA/Reading Essentialization Samples

Participants will be provided with an overview of the essentialization process. Multiple examples across grades and throughout the Literature and Informational Text content areas along with suggested text resources will be shared as the focus of this session. Participants will be provided opportunity to interact with the PSSA ELA Glossary as a resource when determining targets and essentializing.
