This two-day workshop is designed to provide IU Transition TaC with in-depth, hands-on experience in the new Transition Discoveries (TD) procedures required for IUs and LEAs in the forthcoming implementation of TD as part of the Pathways to Partnerships Grant. During this workshop, IU Transition TaC will work collaboratively with PaTTAN and IU colleagues to support challenging and diverse case examples of LEAs who are implementing TD.
Objectives
- Recruit, screen, and select an LEA for participation in TD as part of the Pathways to Partnerships Grant.
- Onboard an LEA for TD implementation.
- Coach an LEA through a facilitated review of their TD Survey data.
- Coach an LEA through the planning and hosting of a successful TD Community Action Planning event.
- Coach an LEA through the design and implementation of a systems-level action plan to improve transition practices, programs and services.
- Participants will leave having hours of hands-on practice with guidance from experts on how to implement the new TD procedures successfully and independently.
